Vorbote vive solo en el desierto, en una cueva. Se alimenta de miel, el rocio mañanero y de los granos que le traen los pajaritos del campo. Usa bufanda para ocultar una enorme cicatriz en el cuello que se hizo al afeitarse cuando se puso a mirar a Salomé de reojo por el espejo.

Vorbote lives alone in the desert, in a cave. He eats the grain that little birds bring to him and drinks honey and the morning dew. He uses a scarf to hide the ugly scar he has on his neck, he made to himself while spying on Salome over the shaving mirror.
